The grand, yet graceful architecture pays homage to the elegant Dutch and Portuguese styles of old, coupled with influences from Sri Lanka.

53 modern rooms are designed according to six themes; Fortress Rooms, Beach Rooms, Beach Splash Rooms, Ocean Rooms, Ocean Lofts and Fortress Residences. While the latter two offer private infinity pools and butler service.  Other rooms are opulent, elegant and inviting, and boast a private courtyard or balcony with superb views of the Indian Ocean or gardens.

Take dip a in the free-flow swimming pool, de-stress in yoga classes or workout at the fitness centre. A children’s club is available for young guests, and the spa with Ayurvedic treatments is utterly wonderful.  Dine on international cuisine at the restaurants, or refresh with Sri Lankan teas.
