Nestled in the mountains of the verdant Golden Valley of Tea, or Bogawantalawa Valley, are the Ceylon Tea Trails Bungalows. At 4,000 feet above sea level, this charming location comprises four colonial era bungalows, originally built for tea planters.

Now wonderfully restored, the traditional bungalows have a modern feel. Perched on the rolling green hills of a working tea estate, guests enjoy a ‘non-hotel’ experience. Linked by scenic walking trails, each bungalow is unique.  Choose from walking the Trail, splitting your time between bungalows, or stay in one where you can really unwind.

The bungalows come with a swimming pool, a butler service, period furnishings, chef and other welcoming staff. Gourmet meals are made from fresh produce, while afternoon tea and cocktails are also provided for your pleasure.

Each residence boasts four to six Master Suites, Garden Suites and Luxury Rooms. Bungalows offer unique features: Summerville has a ‘country cottage’ feel, Castlereagh boasts amazing lake views, Tientsin has glorious English gardens and enjoy croquet at Norwood.
